Natural Style

Thoughtful design is not always about replacing the old with new.
In this Excelsior guest suite, we repurposed the existing cabinetry with a splash of color, added a modern touch with floating, solid surface shelves, and updated the fixtures. The end result is a kitchenette that feels rejuvenated and fresh.
We're big fans of adding visually impactful wallcovering to small spaces. In the cozy alcove, we used a stylized, organic take on a geometric pattern to celebrate the unique architecture and provide a dynamic backdrop for the homeowner's existing lounge chair.
Updating the fixtures throughout allowed us to layer design styles and play with visual texture. The once dark and dingy shower was transformed into a spa-like experience. Custom art, featuring the advertisement for our selected bathroom wallcovering, was the icing on the cake in the main bath.
Our client came to us wanting to keep their existing table and chair set in the bedroom. The bones were beautiful so we were excited to dive into this transformation. We gave the chairs a fresh coat of powdery pink paint which dances alongside the wall color, added new seat cushions, and had this custom table skirt made with the dreamiest trim detail. Phase two of this project tackles the living room so stop back later in 2022 for additional photography!
