Midcentury Revitalization
Arden hills, Mn
Simple and minimal but with no lack of charm, this project drew inspiration from the client's lighthearted disposition and love of Scandinavian design.
Through thoughtful planning, this space was crafted to be functional for a family of five who love to cook. Once dark and crowded, the now lighted-filled space is balanced by warm tones with the incorporation of wood and gold tones while bringing the outdoors in. Fun fact: the residence, built in 1959 was once home to a former Northrop Auditorium director. With an indoor garden in the atrium, stage for performances and a hidden bar this home is rich with history.
